Susana Dragomir

Dr. Susana Dragomir is a Romanian political scientist and strategic communications expert specializing in disinformation and hybrid threats. She has researched Russian propaganda in Romania since 2018, with work spanning online disinformation, hate speech, and foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI). She previously spent more than 11 years as a strategic and political communication advisor in the European Parliament, and she is affiliated with Babeș-Bolyai University and EU SPIN Research & Consulting. Her research has mapped around 300 pro-Russian propaganda websites in Romania, and she contributed to EU DisinfoLab’s report on the country’s disinformation landscape.
